Linear codes
Linear (1D) barcodes store data in the widths of vertical bars and spaces. They are the workhorses of logistics, libraries, retail back rooms and industrial labelling.
Code 128
Any ASCII text, 1 to about 80 characters.
Code 11
Digits and the dash (-) only.
Code 2 of 5 Interleaved
An even number of digits (the encoder pads odd lengths).
Code 39
Uppercase A to Z, digits and - . space $ / + %.
Code 39 Full ASCII
Any ASCII text. Lowercase and symbols use two-character pairs.
Code 93
Uppercase A to Z, digits and - . space $ / + %.
Flattermarken
Digits only (page or sheet numbers).
GS1-128 (UCC/EAN-128)
Application Identifiers in brackets, e.g. (01)GTIN(10)LOT.
MSI Plessey
Digits only. A check digit is added automatically.
Pharmacode One-Track
An integer from 3 to 131070.
Pharmacode Two-Track
